Castleman’s Disease and Me – Congress mood film

The challenge was to create an engaging opening mood film for a Multicentric Castleman’s Disease (iMCD) masterclass using only existing footage and available assets. As an ultra-rare disease with symptoms that can resemble more common conditions, iMCD is often difficult to recognise, leaving many patients facing a long and complex journey before receiving an accurate diagnosis.

The film was created to place the patient experience at the heart of the event, bringing the human impact of delayed diagnosis into focus while setting the tone for meaningful discussion among specialists. Through thoughtful editing, pacing, and narrative structure, we transformed existing content into a compelling story that highlighted the challenges patients face and the importance of collaboration across the medical community.

By bringing a patient perspective to life, the film created an emotional connection with delegates, reinforcing the need for greater awareness, earlier recognition, and continued collaboration within the iMCD community.
